Novelty postcards are those made from materials uncommon for this use. Send them with a first class mail service because these are only a few cents more expensive compared to standard ones if its size follows the requirement. The delivery is prioritized over the other classes meaning they arrive faster to the intended receivers. Doing this gives you the chance of getting more replies from the customers you targeted.

Time their arrival for either Tuesdays or Wednesdays when sending them because these days usually have lighter mail volume than others. This means your postcards have less competition with other mails delivered together with them that day. Monday is the day to avoid because this is the busiest one for most people.

Do not spend so much with designing and printing because colorful prints and elegant layouts are expensive but do this when you offer these services though.
