By Kathleen Ward

You may have experience in your life having glued by a super glue on any part of your skin or anywhere else. The struggle of removing the glued part is very tiring and frustrating at times, or maybe most of the time. You find it very hard on how you could possibly remove it and you are already running out of ideas.

The super glue sticks faster and dries faster on any type of surfaces causing you in having a hard time dealing with it. Every time that you try to remove this is a struggle, luckily there are so many things in the home that you will be able to use as a super glue remover. List down below are things that you could do to get rid of this thing.

The skin is the most sensitive part that it could get contact to and is the most hard to get rid off. Simply start by peeling it with the use of your fingernails because they are many cases where in it easily wears off when teared apart. If it is thicker in form then it can be easily peeled.

You have to wait for the glue to completely dry before trying to remove it again. If you touch it and still not dry you may get glued to it which will make the whole situation worst. To avoid the feeling of pain, carefully peel it off. Use tweezers if you are having a hard time when using your fingernails. If it will not budge after a couple of attempts do not force it you need to stop.

An effective remover that can be use that is already present in every household is soap and water. Prepare a soapy warm water in any container. Then, soak the area of the skin affected for at least a minute. Now try to attempt peeling the soften glue away.

If it is still so hard to peel using your hands then use a spatula or anything that you can use to scrape it. You may soak it again if you find it hard to remove. Take note that it takes a few tries to get rid of it all. Lemon is another optional ingredient that you may incorporate that is usually present in a household.

The juice in the lemon is what you will only need. Instead of water use lemon, so you need to mix soap and lemon into one container. Or, you may use water and lemon instead. Just be sure that it is in equal parts. The acid found in the juice will eat the glue away.

Acetone. Your acetone nail polish remover can also solve the problem. But be careful in using this product because the chemical present in this can irritate or dry the skin. Apply the acetone on the affected area and you should never use a cotton swab to apply this because the cyanoacrylate can create harmful reactions to the cotton. Leaving it for a couple of seconds is recommended.

Another option would be a petroleum jelly. The content present in the petroleum jelly can be a good remover. Get a great portion of jelly and rub it in the area. Rub it continuously until it peels on its own. Do not stop rubbing until all the particles falls off. After that, simply wash your hands. There are still many remedies out there that you may try.
