However, if written and depicted properly, chances are you could constantly evoke their interest for a long time. Properly evaluate things well, including the actions of antagonists and protagonists.

Especially if its your first time writing such form of story, being highly creative can definitely help you reap the best rewards. The most surprising and exceptional thing when focusing on horror is that you could make others believe that their fears lie somewhere near them say their room.

Spoilers. Foreshadowing is your best friend. The main character would likely face the villains, so they would have to confront each other at certain point. But you have to be especially careful on how to depict the spoilers. It is believed that when a reader knows something about the story right from the very beginning, they would have a deeper and in depth understanding about it.

Mystery. One of the greatest elements which make this story great is the mystery. Whether small or large, consider making a twist into the plot, story and characters. You can turn one of the protagonists to be an actual antagonist. Apart from mystery, give some spoilers that are hard to guess. Be wise with the use of words to pull off an exceptional kind of result eventually.

Excitement. The sense of excitement must be consistent, and not inconsistent. Once you have settled to a particular theme, stick with it. One rule of thumb in developing great things is that you keep every reader fully satisfied as they flip every page of a book.
